PTGA Scholarships

Together we can work to support the world of music. At the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards, Michael Greene, Recording Academy President and CEO said, “Music is a magical gift we must nourish and cultivate in our children, especially now as scientific evidence proves that an education in the arts makes better math and science students, enhances spatial intelligence in newborns, and let's not forget that the arts are a compelling solution to teen violence, certainly not the cause of it!”

The Piano Technicians Guild Auxiliary helps to nourish the magical gift of music by presenting scholarships each year to a senior division winner and a junior division winner of one of the state piano competitions sponsored by the Music Teachers National Association. In addition, we invite these young performers to play for us in an evening recital during our convention. If you would like to contribute to the PTGA Scholarship Fund, please send a check (payable to PTG) to: Piano Technicians Guild Auxiliary, 4444 Forest Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66106. You do not need to be a PTGA member to contribute to the Scholarship Fund, but you are welcome to join our organization for another $20.
