OUR MISSION…
“The Piano Technicians Guild Foundation is formed to support the goals of PTG by preserving and displaying
historical materials and providing scholarships and grants for piano performance, study and research.”
To recognize those who make exceptional single donations to the Foundation, these six special
have been established.
List of Honorees Many donations to the Foundation are made in honor of a PTG member, friend or family member.This list includes donations received since the Foundation was established in 1983.

To meet these goals, the PTG Foundation:
- Maintains the Steve Jellen Memorial Library containing technical and scientific literature on piano technology
and subjects relating to the profession.
- Supports work in applied sciences and related studies through grants to educators and technicians involved
in piano technology.
- Offers scholarship funds to assist students to attend conventions and apply to take PTG Examinations.
- Established and supports a museum to preserve historical items, tools, and materials related to the piano.
