Guidelines for Effective Institutional Piano Maintenance, revised edition New as of 9/29/04 - PDF
Left click to view, right click to download.

Revision of the Guidelines for Effective Institutional Piano Maintenance is now complete, and it is being made available for you to view and print by clicking on the PDF file above.

A professionally printed version of the Guidelines is available from the Home Office of the Piano Technicians Guild.

This web based version will continue to be available. The only difference is a reduced number of pages, based on slightly different formatting (the printed version makes for a nicer presentation to administrators).

The Workload Formula Database and Spreadsheet files posted on this page were developed by Don McKechnie and David Porritt. They are very "user friendly," and make use of the Formula as easy as "plugging in the numbers." Please send any comments on the usefulness and accuracy of the formula (based on your own experience) to fssturm@unm.edu.
