Pinblock dilemma for a first timer.

It's important for laminate panels to have an odd number of plies. If you 
are going to use a 5 ply panel, it would be best to add 2 additional plies; 
one on each side.  When a laminated panel has an even number of plies, there 
is a possibility of warpage (yes, even with hard rock maple).
