Probably some screws under rubber buttons on the top side of the cheek
block. It has to be something - keep looking, poking, prodding until you
find it.

Subject: Action removal
A Grinnel baby grand. I need to remove the action. After removing the key
slip I found the only screws on the bottom of the keybed were those to hold
on the legs. On the cheek blocks on either end of the keyboard is a screw
that goes from the front on about a 45 degree angle into the keybed. (See
crude diagram attached).
I removed those screws and although the cheek blocks move and are somewhat
loose they will not come out. Also the fall board doesn't seem to be
attached to the cheek blocks and it doesn't appear that it will come out
even if I did get the cheek blocks out.
This is first time in 20 years I haven't been able to remove an action.
HELP PLEASE
