All this is fine and dandy... but it doesnt answer the questions I 
posed.  Do scaling programs do more then what apparently Ron Overs has 
done on the scaling spreadsheet he posted a while back... or do they not ?

David Sanderson told us that the bare length is critical to inharmonicity.
Mismatched bare lengths on wound bichords is a real tuning problem.
