Hi,Dennis! Regarding broken Leg Plate question: REPLACE BOTH parts,MALE and
FEMALE as a unit [pair]..Welding will NOT work..Good Luck!!! isaac

I have a 1927 Baldwin A in the shop with a cracked leg plate. Any
suggestions (repair possible? weld? replace with Schaff plates?)  would be
appreciated.
