Accepting credit cards

You can create a PayPal account for free, and accept the occasional credit card for a fee of something like $3-$5 per $100.  Your customer needs only an email address and web access, and does not have to join PayPal (last time I checked).

Strangely, many government customers prefer to use plastic (prisons, community colleges).
