You can get the tubes out by carefully drilling them out (slow dremel tool).  The tubes and the PVC-e glue are both softer than the acrylic, (I suppose that's what yours are made of?--clear, plastic-looking?)  Why do you have to glue them in?  Maybe you need to get larger diameter tubes, they should fit snuggly by themselves.  I replace tubes for free for my patients--is Gloria too far away for a quick stop by her office?  Usually the professional can do a better job, because all the angles and lengths can be adjusted more precisely when they are on the patient's head, making for greater comfort.

Is there a mild way to soften or dissolve PVC-e glue?   I am using it to
hold plastic tubes in the molds for my hearing aids, and need to replace
tubes.  The molds are about $135, and fragile, so I can't go digging madly
with blunt instruments...
