Black laquer finish Questions

Aloha to all from Sunny Maui, Hope everyone is starting to recover from
the parties last night. I have a Steinway that I'm going to refinish to
use for rentals. It was at a resort and got pretty banged up.What would
be a good filler to use before spraying laquer? Also any ideas how to
refinish the fall board with the brass Steinway logo? Thanks , Brett
