Hi Tom,

Great idea!  My shop is cramped, and it's always a challenge to get a grand action from the piano in one room to the bench in the other room without a helping hand..  Will stop by the local thrift store today. They have these things lined up, ready to sell.

 This device is very stable and came in handy this week when I had a
long journey from one end of a school to my van at the distant end of

parking lot.
 I have used bungee's to hold the action to the cart, but even
without them  the action is heavy enough to remain very secure
 I removed some of the holders from this well constructed cart and
added 1" square extruded aluminum rails to support grand piano actions.
 I adjust the handle as to make the supports horizontal, lay the
action in place ,lift up  and off I go.
