I have a client with a restored 1917 Steinway A.? She has decided that it is important to her to be able to leave the lid halfway open.? The current?prop stick?only allows for the lid to be in the full open position.

?

What is the best way to install a half stick?? Do I need to replace the current prop stick with another that has both full stick and short stick?? Or is the a?short stick that can be retrofitted on the current stick??
