Fwiw, I often find serial numbers, signatures and shop names written on the sides of the 42nd keystick.
When I worked in a library special collection, I remember sticking RFID strips on page 42 of each volume.
Its just such a nice warm fuzzy number, all the qualities of being a "round" figure without actually containing zeros.  Continue with your 42ing.
