Hoisting pianos

On 4 occasions I have hoisted grand pianos to a second floor balcony with an 
engine hoist with and electric winch attached to the end and two big guys 
standing on the base for a counterbalance.  The hoist was disassembled to move 
upstairs.  A 2X4 was screwed to the edge of the balcony to keep it from rolling 
off.
