Hoisting pianos

Bob,
         I suppose that's possible. We pondered 
that but it's a heck of a lot of building 
products for one single use. I actually thought 
that the winch or block and tackle thing would 
require less materials. Might be that putting the 
hook or beam clamp in place makes the ramp idea look more plausible.
