What's the best way to clean brass key cauls ?

There's a product out there somewhere (mine, my wife picked up at a yard sale) called Twinkle. It's a cream/paste with a sponge applicator. I have been using it on brass pedals, etc., and it is wonderful--cleans them and brings them to a high shine with very little effort. By comparison, Brasso (to quote Shakespeare) sucketh, big time.
