Drumming up business

Ken, I found the opposite to be true. My business increased when I first called and then followed up with a reminder card if I couldn't reach them by phone. I felt the customers were a little annoyed when I called after the card. They would say "I got your card". It wasn't a nice "I got your card". FWIW

Lee,
I concur with Jim Grebe. You send the cards out, then a couple of weeks
after you send out the cards you call the customers, asking whether they got
the reminder card and you will usually get more immediate tuning that way.
