The Renner back action is a kit that requires you to take measurements, drill all the holes, etc. If you have not attended a class on doing this, it might be very difficult to do.??The Steinway back action comes complete, basically ready to install. This is not an endorsement on one or the other. Just an observation. I have done both, and personally found the Steinway much easier to work with.?You, on the other hand, might enjoy the challenge of working with the kit.
