The RPT designation identifies a member of the Piano Technicians Guild who has passed a series of exams covering tuning, repair, and regulation skills along with general piano knowledge. Besides the opportunities listed below, you may also want to check with local music stores, local colleges and universities and local piano technicians for classes, workshops and apprenticeships.
