Piano Technology Education & Training Directory

Piano Technology Education & Training

Interested in becoming a piano technician? Want to learn to tune, repair and care for pianos?

The RPT designation identifies a member of the Piano Technicians Guild who has passed a series of exams covering tuning, repair, and regulation skills along with general piano knowledge. Besides the opportunities listed below, you may also want to check with local music stores, local colleges and universities and local piano technicians for classes, workshops and apprenticeships.

The list below is compiled by the Piano Technicians Guild as a public service and based on information provided by each training program. PTG does not endorse or certify training programs.
